In 2009, Excelsior Technologies moved to a new purpose-built supersite at Deeside in North Wales, strategically close to the major industrial and production centres of Liverpool and Manchester and ideally positioned to serve its customers in Europe, the USA, South Africa and the Far East. In total, an investment of more than £20 million was spent on commissioning the site and this represented the single largest investment in flexible packaging in the UK for many years.

The Deeside location houses the company’s Global HQ with all corporate functions operating from this base. Additionally, the Deeside sitecomprises an 8.5 acre production, warehousing and R&D facility housing state-of-the-art conversion, printing and finishing lines.
