UK packaging super-site opens to provide world-class manufacturing resource

Excelsior Technologies has commenced operations at a new £20million, 8.5 acre super-site which represents the UK's biggest single investment in flexible packaging for decades.

Lidding Films

Excelsior can offer a wide range of lidding films and laminates using our in-house technology in film extrusion and coating.

Our lidding films are available to seal to a wide range of trays including apet/cpet/rpet/pp/ps and pe. Specialist films are available for retort, oven or micro-steam and we supply a large range of breathable films for the fresh foods market incorporating anti-mists, macro or micro-perforations and of course high quality graphics. By maintaining the tightest controls over our own polymer extrusion and conversion facilities we can offer outstanding quality and consistency of film gauge and strength. This attention to finished quality also ensures clarity and high performance as well as exceptional sealability and peelability.

We can provide lidding film to an agreed requirement or recommend the optimum specification for your needs.
