UK packaging super-site opens to provide world-class manufacturing resource

Excelsior Technologies has commenced operations at a new £20million, 8.5 acre super-site which represents the UK's biggest single investment in flexible packaging for decades.

Sterilisable Packaging

Excelsior was one of the pioneers of advanced polymer sterilisable packaging and offers considerable expertise in the development of packs for the protection of a wide range of products. In the medical and healthcare sector, these products might range from dressings to medical instruments and associated equipment. They can be clear or opaque and can include viewing windows and writing areas.

We can recommend the optimum combination of pack design and closure/sealing/opening mechanism to suit the nature of the product as well as to enable speed and convenience in unwrapping. Such packs can also carry a wide range of information about the product, its use and special instructions including expiry date.
